Women in Black is a world-wide network of women committed to peace
with justice and actively opposed to injustice, war, militarism
and other forms of violence. As women experiencing these things
in different ways in different regions of the world, we support
each other's movements. An important focus is challenging the militarist
policies of our own governments. We are not an organization, but
a means of communicating and a formula for action.
We welcome you to use the Women in Black (WiB) website to bring
attention to your WiB vigil as you organize against any manifestation
of injustice, violence, militarism or war. Please use this survey
as the first step to list your vigil and to launch a webpage that
describes your group. Please allow events one week for transcription
and posting to the website.
Whether long-standing or recently-formed, we welcome your vigil's
use of our expanding WiB network in the hope that through our collective
action, we shall bring events the just, safe world we seek.
Sincerely,
The WIB Website Steering Committee
